Kindergarten visit to Morellveien barnehage, followed by visit to Local Authority; Asker municipality to meet representatives from the municipality and National center for Science and Education (together with study visit no. 5). The municipality will also present work on gender equality and recruitment of men to work in kindergartens.

2. Inclusiveness and minority language children – fully subscribed

Kindergarten visit to Sommerfryd barnehage followed by visit to the National Center of Multicultural Education; NAFO at Oslo Metropolitan University.

3. Pedagogies and practices for inclusive ECEC – fully subscribed

Kindergarten visit to Voldsløkka barnehage, followed by visit to Local pedagogical and psychological support services for kindergartens and schools.

4. Arts and creativity

Kindergarten visit to Gydas vei barnehage, a kindergarten inspired by the pedagogies in Reggio Emilia. Their motto is to be a workshop of possibilities. The visit will include a visit to local recycling center.

6. Pedagogies for children under 3 years

Kindergarten visit to Espira Grefsen stasjon barnehage, followed by meeting with Kindergarten owner and Directorate for Education who will present measures and policies for quality in pedagogical practice (together with study visit no. 7).

7. Digital practices in kindergarten

Visit to PI Parken; a specially equipped science centre where children and employees meet science subjects in new ways through exciting activities and a varied material, followed by meeting with Kindergarten owner and Directorate for Education (together with study visit no. 6).

8. Sámi kindergarten / Cizàs – indigenous ECEC policy and pedagogy

Visit to Sami Manaid Gardi Cizàs; a Sami kindergarten in Oslo to hear about how the kindergarten promotes children’s Sami language skills, values, culture and traditions and strengthens children’s Sami identity in an area outside the Sámi districts. The visit in the Sami Mánáidgardi will be followed by a visit to Sámi House Oslo – a social and cultural arena for all Sámi people in the Oslo region. Sámi House focuses on the continuation of Sámi language, culture and community life in the capital.
